Hallo, mein Name ist Muhammad, ich bin promovierter Wissenschaftler und fühle mich geehrt, als Fremdenführer im Nagasaki Friedenspark und Atombombenmuseum zu arbeiten. Als leidenschaftlicher Vermittler von Geschichte und Frieden möchte ich den Besuchern die tragischen Ereignisse des 9. August 1945 und die Widerstandsfähigkeit der Menschen in Nagasaki näherbringen. Mein Ziel ist es, Sie einfühlsam und einfühlsam durch den Nagasaki Friedenspark und das Atombombenmuseum zu führen, die Geschichten von Überlebenden zu erzählen und die Bedeutung der Arbeit für eine friedliche, atomwaffenfreie Welt zu verdeutlichen.
I really enjoyed the tour, It gave me a wider background for what I am seeing in the museum.
Mohammed is an incredibly kind person who does the tours out of the kindness of his heart, and his desire to meet people from around the world. There were many times when Mohammed provided me with valuable information that I could not have learned about the park otherwise.
I really enjoyed the tour with Mohammed. It was very interesting, and Mohammed was able to share a lot of stories and information. I can definitely recommend this tour. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, and I felt very well taken care of throughout. It was a wonderful way to discover the city and learn more about its culture.
Muhammad was a pleasant person and on time however unfortunately, we found the tour to be uninformative outside of what was written on the boards at each stop. We don’t feel that we learned anything that we couldn’t have learned by just visiting the sites ourselves. When we asked questions, he wasn’t able to answer. Overall, I don’t believe he knew the subject area very well. For example we were told the fountain in the peace garden represented weeping/crying but when we left and we read the board ourselves there was no mention of this. It said it represented the wings of a crane, the bird that symbolises peace here. Overall, we’d recommend just visiting the sites yourself rather than taking this tour. We did a tour in Hiroshima a few days prior and the difference was night and day, it was really interesting with lots of stories and information you couldn’t get from the park and museum itself.
A moving and insightful tour. Muhammad was knowledgeable, friendly, and brought Nagasaki’s history to life. Highly recommended both him and the peace memorial tour!
