We joined all three tours offered by Dhanabalan and they were all great experiences, Dhanabalan’s English is fantastic and he has so much knowledge to share. Highlights included the evening ceremony at the Meenakshi temple, a day time tour of the same temple, the banana and flower markets and a beautiful temple which is a short distance from the city centre. We were two women travelling together and always felt safe and well looked after in Dhanabalan’s company, he also bought us coffee and snacks during the tours. Thoroughly recommend

Dhanabalan picked me up on point and then we went into the temple. I learned a lot, from basics to detailed information you just can get from a local. Without him I would be lost in this big temple complex and wouldn't understand a lot of things. Thank you for your time and I wish you the best.
We treated ourselves to a private full-day “GuruWalk” tour with Dhanabalam in Madurai. We began at the local vegetable market, continued through the wholesale banana market and the famous Murugan Temple, and finished at the vibrant flower market. We were truly impressed and learned so much about the religions, culture, and history of Tamil Nadu. Because of the heat, we were glad to combine taxi rides with walking. Without our guide’s professionalism, we would never have experienced Madurai in such a meaningful way. It’s an absolute must! 😎🙏🥰☺️
