Ein bisschen Geschichte, ein bisschen Wissenswertes und ein paar kleine Witze. Geboren und aufgewachsen in Edinburgh, arbeitete ich 17 Jahre lang als Reporter, Feature-Autor und Filmredakteur beim Scotsman und schrieb anschließend regelmäßig für den Guardian und die London Times. Ich habe mehrere Bücher geschrieben und herausgegeben, darunter „The Times on Cinema“ und „On Location – The Film Fan’s Guide to Britain and Ireland“. Zuletzt war ich als Reiseführer im nationalen Fernsehen in der Sendung „This Morning“ zu sehen.

One of the best walking tours I have ever been on! Brian shared many intriguing and entertaining stories, both on the Royal Mile and a few of the neighbouring cemeteries. I learned a lot about the history of the city from many different time periods, and got to hear about his personal history growing up in Edinburgh! I can’t recommend this tour enough. Just be sure to wear good walking shoes!
