I recently joined the Bishkek Free Walking Tour and had an incredible experience with our guide, Saele. What made the tour special was Saele’s approach—it felt less like a rigid lecture and more like talking to a friend who truly loves their city. At the same time, she remained completely professional and highly informative, sharing deep insights into Kyrgyz history and culture that you won't find in a guidebook. She really went the extra mile for us, especially when she guided us through the National Museum, helping us navigate the exhibits with ease. To top it all off, she took me to a local restaurant specifically so I could try authentic Beshbarmak, which was the perfect end to the day. If you're in Bishkek, definitely look for Saele!
Azizbek couldn’t show up. Saule was our guru instead. She was a nice young lady. Her English was good. It was a nice tour. Thank you!
We had our tour with Azizbek, he is from Kyrgyzstan, but he is also a world citizen 😊 We walked around some landmarks in the capital’s center. The tour felt more like a conversation and exchange of knowledge rather than just me following someone spitting out facts. We really enjoyed to get to know more about Kyrgz history and culture with Azizbek! He also made a great recommendation for lunch and other activities!
Azizbek was friendly and very knowledgeable. It was a very interesting tour, which covered pretty much everything that I wanted to see. I would recommend this to anyone who visits Bishkek!
