We had a great tour with Dina and really enjoyed our day. It's a long walk but we were up for it and enjoyed seeing lots of the city. Dina herself was very friendly and open to sharing information about the city and her country. Everyone on the tour was quite surprised about how beautiful the city was and how much more interesting the sites were than we had all expected. Let's be honest, people don't know too much about Azerbaijan before coming here. In reality, it's quite neat! I would recommend this walking tour but be prepared to walk. And note that the funicular doesn't run on Monday. It didn't run during our tour so we just skipped it and took it the next day. It's also worth taking to get a few from the top of the hill. Overall, we had a great time.
With Dina, I learned a lot about the history and culture of Azerbaijan and Baku. She is a young, very knowledgeable, and professional tour guide. She first took us to the Old City, and after that, we visited some amazing viewpoints with breath-taking scenery. Dina is very balanced, respectful, and patient with her guests. She made sure we visited all the best photo spots and never had any problem making extra stops or taking us to additional places so we could take more pictures. This tour was truly amazing — we experienced even more than we expected. Dina is highly recommended, and I would definitely suggest her tour to everyone visiting Azerbaijan. Ich fand Dina hatte sehr viele Informationen parat und kam bestens vorbereitet- nicht nur historisch aufschlussreich sondern auch für aktuelle Themen rund um Baku. Ich fand die Stopps der Tour sehr gut gewählt. Vor allem der Stopp zur Weinverkostung ist sehr speziell- ich glaube nicht viele Touren würden so etwas beinhalten. Insgesamt super aufschlussreich und klasse Route. Ich kann die Tour sehr empfehlen!
