The Tour with Van was really good, she showed us the best places of the French quarter and also good spots to eats street food.

We did the tour with Vân. She was amazing. The tour was extremely informative and thorough (it got extended to 4 hours). We learned so much about Vietnam’s history. The fact that we went into Hoa Lo Prison during the tour was great because we wouldn’t have learned so much on the exhibition hadn’t it been for Vân. We recommend this tour to anyone that’s interested in getting into depth in the history of this country.

We had the best time on the French Quarter tour with Julia. She was very knowledgeable and friendly, and it simply felt like we were walking around the city with our friend. We would give her six stars if we could!

Vam denota vitalidad, se preocupa por ti y quiere aprender, a la vez, de ti y del lugar de donde procedes. Se nota que sabe de historia y tiene mucho conocimiento en general! Te atrapa cuando habla, sabe responder a todas las preguntas y se adapta a tus necesidades. La visita por el French quarter y la prisión fueron espectaculares y nos llevo a sitios que nos encantaron. Sin dudarlo recomendaríamos hacer el free tour con ella!

My friend Jess and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Julia. She was incredibly knowledgeable about Hanoi, the French Quarter, and Vietnam’s history, which made the experience both interesting and informative. One of the highlights for us was visiting the Hoa Lo Prison, and Julia brought its history to life with her insights and storytelling. She was also very friendly and kind throughout the tour, even taking some lovely photos for us along the way. The tour lasted around three hours, which felt like the perfect amount of time to explore the city without feeling rushed. After the tour, Julia kindly sent us recommendations for local food spots as well as train times for Train Street, which was a thoughtful and much appreciated touch. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hanoi. Julia was an excellent guide and made the experience truly memorable.

Thu was such a nice guide 🌸🥰 She did the tour with us even it was 40 degree, a heat wave in Hanoi and only the two of us. We had a great time with her, she showed us a lot & knew much about the history. It was one of the best walking tours so far! We highly recommend doing your walking tour with Thu! I really enjoyed the tour of the French Quarter with Thu. She was so attentive to the group and showed us things we wouldn't have found by ourselves. So glad I did this tour, I highly recommend it.

Thu was wonderful. Funny, friendly, and very knowledgeable. I was surprised by her ability to answer all of our questions. She was very attentive to our needs with stopping for brakes, water, snacks, etc. She was also very helpful when one person became a bit sick. She was very personable and I feel like I got to know a lot more about Vietnamese culture from her.

I did the tour with Nam, and I learned so much about Vietnamese history from him. He also took us to a great hole-in-the-wall coffee shop that I would have never known existed.

What a delight! Lisa (Thu) is a soft-spoken very personable woman who is impactful with her words. She spent several hours with us guiding us through the streets and buildings of the French Quarter in Ha Noi. She is deeply connected to the area’s history and gave us, what we believe to be, one of the best tours that we have ever had. Lisa (Thu) is well-steeped in the history, the lore, the culture, and the traditions that undergird this beautiful area of Ha Noi. She is very engaging and is a wellspring of information. She is incredibly knowledgably about the historic buildings and revealed many off-the-beaten-track areas. We cannot recommend Lisa (Thu) highly enough

Julia is very professional, informative and outgoing. She tried to provide all the information we need to understand Vietnam in general and Hanoi in specific. Her English is excellent and the pace of the tour is just perfect. The best tour in Vietnam so far.

We had an amazing time with Thu this morning. She took us all around the French district, explained all about the buildings and the people. We stopped for a traditional coffee and ended in the Hanoi Hilton - the prison! We couldn't have asked for a better guide and would thoroughly recommend this tour. Looking forward to seeing the photos!
