Ayumi is super good! The topics to be discussed per stop were nicely sequenced. She speaks clearly and passionately about Geiko/Maiko. She gave interesting information and patiently answered all our questions. I like the “real talk” parts as well. I learned a lot in just 2 hours!

I joined Vincent's Fushimi Inari tour! It was raining on the day of my visit, and honestly, I was a little worried it might ruin the experience. But the moment I met Vincent and we started walking, all that worry just melted away! The thousand Red Torii gates looked completely different in the rain, with the vermilion color somehow appearing even more vivid than usual. Vincent told us, "This is actually the hidden side of Fushimi Inari," and it really opened my eyes to the fact that bad weather can reveal a whole different kind of beauty. His storytelling along the way went way beyond typical tour guide talk. He shared fascinating details about the meaning behind the torii gates and the origins of the fox statues, the kind of stuff that makes you go "whoa, really?" We were laughing the entire time, and before I knew it, I had completely forgotten it was even raining. Honestly, this turned out to be a more memorable day than if the weather had been perfect. If you're hesitating to book because of a bad forecast, don't be, it might just turn out to be lucky! Thank you for such an amazing time, Vincent!

Great informative tour by an enthusiastic and professional guide....such a shame that there was a terrible thunder storm! As we were teavelling the next day we unfortunatelu had to cut the tour short as we didn't want to get too wet! Would highly recommend though as you really see old kyoto xx
