Night Tour Kyoto

*Saurabh was our guide on the Geisha tour - what an education we received! He was such a pleasant guide, eager to share his vast knowledge of the geisha culture with us and even went on to give us some recommendations for our stay in Kyoto.

We had a very private tour with Saurabh and really enjoyed the evening walk. It was very informative and we learned a lot about the Geikos and Maikos and the Gion area. We highly recommend the tour!

This tour was an excellent way to better understand the world of Maikos and Geikos. Our guide Ayumi knows at least one Maiko and one Geiko personally, so her information felt authentic and a bit 'insider-ish'. I'm looking forward to following up with a daytime wander through the Gion neighborhood and watching a performance at the theater.

I discovered so much about geiko I had no idea about. Was truly fascinating. I highly recommend this tour. Saurabh was a fantastic host, and he Also provided great tips and hints regarding Japan and Kyoto generally.

Saurabh , was on time , like he said 15 minutes before . Opening Whatsapp group , which was fantastic . Good information , and insite to an interesting tration and concept . He was very respectful to the tradition , and dispelling all the myths. Intersection with group was good . Additional information and ideas of what to see and where to eat , also were great .

Learned a lot about Geisha Culture and History on this tour

This was a great tour! Caroline was a wonderful guide, very passionate and with tons of information to share. We really enjoyed the tour and learn the real history of gueishas. This tour is a must if you visit Kyoto

awesome experience for someone looking to deepen their understanding of japan's geiko/meiko culture. saurabh's tour is both engaging and informative around prominent geiko locations in gion. we were lucky enough to catch a meiko walking in the street during one of our first stops!

This tour is a definite must-go in Kyoto. Saurabh was super interesting and engaging, sharing the extensive story of geishas and plenty of helpful tips for exploring more of the city afterward. It was a great way to learn, walk around, and really get a feel for Kyoto.

Very good tour. Very informative and interesting. We didn’t get to see any Geikos but all the information was very surprising and lots of things we didn’t know. It was really really good. Lovely to walk the neighbourhoods of Gion and learn about Geisha culture. I recommend it for anyone visiting Kyoto.
