Bruno was amazing! Spoke perfect English and was very enthusiastic about the subject of the tour, as well as answering any of the group’s questions. It was very informative and I specifically appreciated his very human approach to the walk’s topic.

Despite being a sole participant, Jessica did not cancel the tour and gave me a very insightful excursion into the realm of Brazilian women often forgotten by history books. She was extremely friendly yet professional at the same time. Highly recommend if you want deeper context into Brazilian culture and history!

A brilliant tour exploring Brazil’s history and African heritage. An essential experience for anyone visiting Rio, offering a deeper understanding of the structural racism that persists to this day. Both beautiful and heartbreaking. Pedro was an exceptional guide! Cannot recommend it highly enough.

This was the best tour of my entire visit to Rio. Bruno’s knowledge and passion for the subject matter was contagious. I learned so much and left the tour inspired to be more vocal about history’s atrocities and more involved in creating positive changes for the future.
