Monica was very knowledgeable and interesting. It was a lovely casual, but professional tour, greatly appreciated after a long day.She was very good interacting with us and even very helpful with some travel planning. Highly recommend!

A visita guiada com a Mónica foi excelente, verdadeiramente prazenteira. Ela ajudou-nos a ver com outros olhos - mais informados e atentos - algumas das principais atracções de Tomar, cidade que manifestamente adora e que, assim, pudemos apreciar e compreender melhor. Para isto muito contribuiu o contexto histórico fornecido, bem como a análise e interpretação de várias obras artísticas e arquitectónicas, relevando a Mónica pormenores e significados implícitos que, de outra maneira, passariam despercebidos. Pensando em futuras oportunidades, a Mónica teve ainda o cuidado de nos dar conta dos pontos de interesse que, estando já fechadas à hora da visita guiada, não tivemos ocasião de visitar, explicando-nos o que procurar e privilegiar nesses espaços. Terminámos o passeio com a descoberta do imponente e belíssimo aqueduto de Pegões, integrado no meio de uma deslumbrante paisagem natural. A Mónica revelou-se extremamente atenciosa e afável, tornando a experiência muito prazerosa, inclusive pela abertura para a partilha interpessoal. Falou-nos, ademais, acerca de alguns planos para futuras visitas-passeio que parecem muito promissores. Perguntem-lhe e fiquem atentos! * * * The guided tour with Mónica was excellent, truly enjoyable. She helped us to see some of Tomar's main attractions with different eyes. This is a city that she clearly loves and which we were able to appreciate and understand better. The historical context provided contributed greatly to this, as did the analysis and interpretation of various artistic and architectural works, with Mónica highlighting details and implicit meanings that would otherwise have gone unnoticed. Mónica was even careful enough to tell us about the landmarks that, being closed at the time of our guided tour, we weren't able to visit, underlining what to look for in these spaces, on future occasions. The tour finished at the imposing and beautiful Pegões aqueduct, set in the middle of a stunning natural landscape. Mónica was extremely attentive and friendly, making the experience very enjoyable. She also told us about some plans for future tours that look very promising. Ask her and stay tuned!

O Frederico ajudou-nos a descobrir o Convento de Cristo - um monumento que é um verdadeiro "livro de história de Portugal", como nos explicou. Ofereceu-nos várias informações, pormenores e interpretações, para além de nos fornecer antecedentes histórico-culturais, o que permitiu ver o complexo monumental com outros olhos, apreciando-o mais, nas suas vertentes artística e social/funcional. Para além disso, o Frederico mostrou-se muito simpático e acessível. Claramente entusiasmado, bem informado e actualizado sobre os temas abordados na visita guiada, disponibilizou-se a responder a todas as nossas questões. Espero voltar a participar na visita guiada, desta vez com o meu namorado americano! * *
* * Frederico helped us discover the Convent of Christ - a monument that is a truly " Portugal's history book", as he put it. He offered us several informations, details and interpretations, besides proving us with historical background, all of which made it possible to see the monumental complex with another eyes, appreciating it more. On top of that, Frederico was very friendly, besides being clearly passionate, well read and updated about the topics covered on the tour, and also always willing to answer our questions. I'm hoping to join Frederico's tour again with my American boyfriend, next time he visits!
