Thomas se mudó a Hiroshima hace ocho años tras enamorarse de la ciudad y de la mujer que se convertiría en su esposa. Se conocieron en un 7-Eleven, donde ella ganó una hogaza de pan en una pequeña lotería. Como no la necesitaba, se la dio, y desde ese simple momento comenzó su historia. Más tarde se casaron en una panadería de la calle principal de Hiroshima, un lugar que aún visitan juntos porque ocupa un lugar especial en sus corazones. En su tiempo libre, Thomas disfruta estudiando para obtener diferentes titulaciones. Would def recommend this one. Learned a bunch of stuff about the history of Hiroshima and okonomiyaki while being thoroughly entertained throughout. It's very apparent that Thomas is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what he does making this an incredible experience. Also the food was amazing. Doubt I would have been able to find a place this good (and good value!) without the benefit of an experienced local like Thomas. And apologies to Osaka, but after this I'm always going for Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki.
