Thomas si è trasferito a Hiroshima otto anni fa, dopo essersi innamorato della città e della donna che sarebbe diventata sua moglie. Si sono incontrati per la prima volta in un 7-Eleven, dove lei ha vinto una pagnotta a una piccola lotteria. Non ne aveva bisogno, così gliela ha data, e da quel semplice momento è iniziata la loro storia. His knowledge of Hiroshima, Japanese history, and culture is incredibly impressive, but what makes the experience truly special is the passion he brings to every story he tells. Would def recommend this one. Learned a bunch of stuff about the history of Hiroshima and okonomiyaki while being thoroughly entertained throughout. It's very apparent that Thomas is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what he does making this an incredible experience. Also the food was amazing. Doubt I would have been able to find a place this good (and good value!) without the benefit of an experienced local like Thomas. And apologies to Osaka, but after this I'm always going for Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki.
