Hola, soy Rama y soy guía turístico con licencia de la Región Especial de Yogyakarta. Nací y crecí en Yogyakarta. De niño, me encantaba aprender de mi abuela sobre la historia, el arte y la cultura javanesa, especialmente de Yogyakarta. Hasta el día de hoy, sigo aprendiendo y mejorando mis conocimientos sobre la historia, el arte y la cultura javanesas a partir de diversas fuentes. Creo que para entonces, con el equipo que he creado, será muy divertido compartir todo sobre mi querida ciudad, Yogyakarta, que esconde un montón de tesoros y filosofía, con otras personas de todo el mundo con diferentes culturas. We had a fun and informative tour and was a great way to start our trip in Yogyakarta. Puspa took us to some lovely local places and shops and gave us a detailed history including the culture and food of the area. She also gave us a heads up about local scams, which after 2 minutes of leaving her were proven to be true.

This has to be one of the top guided walks ever. Tara is very well versed about his city and can have conversations with you about it's history, culture and everything in between. The route was great with enough stops for exploring food, sites and culture. I had done a fair bit of reading about the history and culture and yet most information Tara shared was insightful. I highly recommend doing this walk at the start of your trip in jogja so you know where you want to hangout and what you should be definitely trying in your time there.
We had a great time with our guide on this tour!! Can’t properly remember his name, sorry! But I guess it was Tara? A student from Aerospace University, and a wonderful host! It was just the two of us, so we had a private tour with a lot of interesting walks, places and even snacking. Was genuinely so much fun with him, and he even had a gift for us, so unexpectedly nice, so thankful! 100% recommend him!
