Sono nato e cresciuto a Yogyakarta e quando ero bambino amavo imparare la storia, l'arte e la cultura giavanese, in particolare Yogyakarta, da mia nonna e, di volta in volta, fino a oggi, continuo a imparare e migliorare per arricchire la mia conoscenza della storia, dell'arte e della cultura giavanese da varie fonti. A quel punto, penso che sarà così divertente condividere tutto sulla mia amata città, Yogyakarta, che ha un sacco di gemme nascoste e filosofia al suo interno, con altre persone in tutto il mondo che hanno diversi background culturali e sono qui per assicurarmi che il tuo tempo per saperne di più sulla mia piccola città, Yogyakarta, scorra senza intoppi, piacevolmente e diventi un'esperienza memorabile! I was the only one on the tour, and Rama gave me sooo much info over 3 hours about the cosomological axis of Jogja (philosophical meanings behind the city's urban planning), history of Jogja, how it's still a monarchy. This tour is more focused on the history of Jogja rather than the everyday life/culture of the city, so join if you're interested in that! It was interesting to see the different architecture from different eras, and get a sense of the city through the tour. He also gave me alot of advice and tips about the other attractions in Jogja, really appreciate it!
I arrived 15 minutes early and stayed 15 minutes past the meeting time. The guide never showed up and never sent any messages. Fortunately, there were some good gudeg restaurants by the meeting place so it wasn't a complete waste of time.

The tour with Rama was amazing first day experience in Yogyakarta! We got to see a few of the main sights and Rama had really interesting information about the city, especially the philosophy and art providing a lot of unexpected info snippets. The vibe was great and we even ended up having a local coffee together with the whole group afterwards. Rama also offered a lot of tips on what to do in Yogyakarta and was really helpful! Highly recommend!
I would highly recommend this tour and Rama as a guide :)
