I was born and grew up in Yogyakarta, and when I was a child, I loved to learn about the history, art, and culture of the Javanese, especially Yogyakarta, from my grandmother, and time by time until today, I still learn and improve it to enrich my knowledge about Javanese history, art, and culture from various sources. We had a fun time with our guide Puspa! She guided us to the most important places of Yogyakarta, mainly Malioboro Street. We learned a lot about Yogyakarta's culture as well as the local cuisine. We also good recommendations for food spots which turned out really good in the end. Puspa also warned us about the local scam strategies which we already had experienced. Don't overpay at the local art exhibitions ;)
