We absolutely loved our tour in Chengdu. We love food and this tour allowed us to discover a typical neighborhood market and try out different varieties of food, all delicious and then Haoqi our tour guide introduced us to a temple and a tea ceremony, where we got to discover the cultural and spiritual side of the town. Haoqi was also very knowledgeable about the city and ready to answer all our questions. Truly recommended!

I booked this tour because I wanted to learn more about everyday life in Chengdu, especially the local food and culture, and I had such a fantastic experience! Chang was an amazing guide she was so friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely excited to share Chengdu with me. She took me through a very local market, introduced me to so many different foods, and explained how they’re traditionally eaten and some of the customs behind them. We also visited a Taoist temple and she shared so much about the history, traditions, and culture, which made the experience feel much more meaningful than simply sightseeing. Chang went above and beyond to make the tour enjoyable and informative. I would absolutely recommend this tour and Chang as your guide, especially for anyone interested in experiencing Chengdu’s food, history, and culture.

Such an awesome way to see Chengdu at night! We had great views around the city and saw so many of the best sights all lit up. It was lovely to meet Yuan and the other people on the tour. The small group made it feel really personal and easy to chat. I'd definitely recommend it if you want to explore Chengdu's night sights!

Haoqi è stata un'ottima guida, gentile e professionale. Ci ha accompagnato nel mercato locale facendoci scoprire molto sulla cucina di Chengdu. Poi il tuor è proseguito con cerimonia del tè e corso di calligrafia. Ottima esperienza.

Haoqi provided an excellent walking tour with lots of professionalism and friendliness. Haoqi gave lots of great information through the market tour whilst giving us ample opportunities to interact with market vendors and query things we found to be interesting. After snacking on the food we picked up at the market, we concluded our tour by visiting a local teahouse and practising calligraphy which was a wonderful experience. I would recommend this tour to anybody interested in doing a walking tour in Chengdu. 😊

Grazie Haoqi!

Haoqi was an incredible guide. He treated us so well throughout the tour and introduced us to the different flavors that make Chengdu so special. He also taught us some Chinese calligraphy, and we got to take home a beautiful phrase as a lovely souvenir. We would definitely do it again. 10 out of 10!

My second tour with Haoqi. The tea ceremony and calligraphy experience were fun and interesting. I haven't practiced calligraphy for a long time. I had fun tasting different food and socializing with the other visitors. I recommend this tour! Chris

My tour with Chang was amazing! It felt truly authentic, and the calm pace of the tour really captured the local vibe. We started with a kung fu tea ceremony and tried white tea—it was delicious! The tea master was so welcoming and kind. I also had a calligraphy lesson, which was definitely the best part of the experience for me. We visited a local wet market, where I tried duck—and it was the best duck I’ve ever had! Chang was such a great guide. It honestly felt like I was exploring the city with a friend rather than being on a typical tour. I highly recommend this tour!

Highly recommend this tour! It’s such a great experience. My guide took me to hidden‑gem night markets with tons of delicious food. The Twin Towers and Bamboo Fountain look so futuristic at night.

Highly recommend this tour! It’s relaxed and laid‑back with no crowds at all. We got to see stunning night views right from the start, followed by plenty of delicious local food. Even though it was raining today, Yuan was so kind to lend me an umbrella and shared lots of history about the city. I would never have discovered so many wonderful spots without her as my guide. Absolutely recommended!

We had such a lovely food tour in Chengdu with Haoqii! She took us to a local market and explained what to try, how people eat different things, and shared lots of interesting little details about the food and culture. I really believe that one of the best ways to start understanding a culture is through its food, and this tour was a perfect example of that. I especially loved all the tips she gave us about Chinese medicine and food. I’m currently trying to make my diet a bit healthier, so this part was really interesting and useful for me. We also did a Chinese tea tasting and even tried some calligraphy, which made the experience feel much more complete than just a food tour. Haoqii was super friendly and made everything very easy and enjoyable. Definitely a great way to discover Chengdu beyond the usual tourist spots. Would absolutely recommend!!
