Chengdu Food Tour

Love Chang!!! The tour was so fun and I got to visit so many places I didn’t know about. Chang is kind and accommodating and was very helpful and planned informative trips! If given the chance, we would love to do this again. Thank you so much Chang!!!

We really enjoyed this tour! Our guide told us a lot of interesting things about China, religion, habits and (obviously) Chengdu's food. We had a beatiful afternoon!! We really suggest this tour that is out of the "ordinary" tourist itinerary ✨

Haoqi asked a colleague to manage the tour and She was a great, it was like being in between a guided tour and visiting a city with a local friend. She made me discover a Taoist temple, a local market and she thought me how to play a traditional card game. Further info about the local culture and mentality have been given according to the questions I asked.

Great GuruWalk with Fiona! She was kind, engaging, and took the time to show us some hidden spots we wouldn’t have found ourselves. Such a lovely guide which made the tour feel really special.

I had a lovely morning walking around the market and chatting with Chang. I got to learn (and try) a lot about local food and local people’s lives - it was even better as it turned out to just be me on the tour so felt pretty special. After the market, you could choose to go to a temple or go a tea ceremony - I chose the tea ceremony which was wonderful with a great tea master who also taught me some calligraphy. Thank you Chang 😊

Excellent local guide with fantastic knowledge Tour was good and more centred around food and tea. Insight into some local markets and local area (not touristy at all) Extremely helpful with suggestions in regards to food, shops , sights etc Recommend you spend some time with Haoqi if you visit chengdu

This was a great tour and I was lucky to have just me so it was a nice experience. I learned about the local food markets and the old Tao Temple which is so beautiful. Fabulous guide I highly recommend Haoqi’d tour when you are in Chengdu. ✨

We really enjoyed the tour haoqi was pretty good showing us some great good at the market we had much fun talking to her , the tea house was a nice experience also .

Lots of food in the market we visited and Haoqi adjusted the walk (I was the only guest) so it was more focused on restaurants I could try later on.

The tour was wonderful! Haoqi introduced me to sichuan kitchen and told a lot of fun facts! Also we visited the tea ceremony, which was awesome, and I had the change to write chinese calligraphy. 100% recommend, It was amazing

Haoqi was super helpful and gave a lot of context about the foods we ate and saw in the walk (which were pretty good by the way). She also gave us the option to go to a private tea house for a tea sampling and some calligraphy. Highly recommend the experience throughout, and Haoqi as a guide!

Had a great time strolling through food stalls, shopping for antiques, sipping tea, and even trying calligraphy!
