We had an amazing food tour in Beijing with Phoebe! She was an excellent guide, super friendly, and spoke very good English. We tried lots of delicious and interesting local food, and she made sure everyone felt comfortable and had a great experience.

First off our tour guide was not Wolfie - it was Zoe. She was awesome! What a great personality - friendly, energetic and interested. She took us to a number of interesting spots (I wish there were MORE) and was able to answer SO MANY questions from all of us. I really enjoyed getting to meet her and having a local's view of food in Beijing.

Hongyu is an excellent tour guide and this tour allows you to try some of the amazing delicacies that Beijing and China have to offer including snacks, drinks, mains and deserts! Afterwards I was stuffed and won't need to eat again for hours! She speaks good English, shares insights as to where all the different foods come from within China, responds to questions and goes out of her way to assist. I would highly recommend this tour to others particularly if you enjoy trying exotic looking and smelling foods! I would also like to give Hongyu great credit for helping to arrange me a football ticket for two days earlier at the Beijing Workers' Stadium and buying it in advance for me without ever having met me before! Thank you again for going out of your way to do this for me!

Great tour great guide. Very knowledgeable and kept in touch all the time. Tour was appropriate length and got to try donkey meat. However would have liked more obscure stops and shops that were open not closing. And able to try the tea samples before buying

Han was a wonderful guide. I appreciated how she weaved the history of Beijing with the history of its food, The matcha tea ice cream, hawthorn pastry and the visit to the wet market were the highlights. I also received recommendations of where to eat on my own!

The guide Han was very nice, spoke english well. Lived in europe before so knew several cultures. Very informative, helpful and answered all questions also non tour related. But the tour is mostly sweet orientated, only 1 real savoury/meat stop. I do think her "boss" Wolfie suggests too high a price, up to 50USD per person. Other Beijing guruwalk guides are satisfied with receiving half that amount.

Good overview of unique foods of Beijing. It wouldve been nice to try a small amount of everything. Possibly work with vendors to ensure they will be on your tour if they allow smaller portions. Overall, still a great experience.

Han was very nice. She took me to places I would not have otherwise visited and I especially liked the pancake at the first stop and visiting the fresh food markets at the end of the tour. I highly recommend the tour. My only issue is that the suggested tip for this tour is double the suggested tip for any other walking tour I did in China. It was a very good tour but no better than any others where only around half the tip amount is suggested.

Milly truly made me feel like I had met an old friend of mine in Beijing. It was one of the best tours I’ve ever taken in the city, and I would recommend it to everyone without hesitation. We took a walk that instantly immersed me in the atmosphere of local life in Beijing and broadened my knowledge of the city.

We had a great food tour, the different types of snacks was explained in detail and we learnt about the origins of the food and snacks too. Really enjoyed the little restaurant and trying dishes we wouldn't have otherwise tried. Han has a great knowledge and very easy to understand, a great tour and tour guide.

The tour with Grace was really good, she gave us information on the food and on some spots of the city. The places picked for the food were really good and I thought it was great that a lot of them were snacks and we could buy small portions to try, because of that we tried a lot of different things. She was very attentive, asking If the tour was to our liking and also asked if we had any preferences to adjust the tour, really good!!!

Grace was a great guru, informative and helpful. She even offered to answer any questions I may think of after the tour. She curated my foods as I have dietary issues. This was a great tour with a great host.

Han has ideally managed to convey the connection between food and taste, culture and history. She not only shows around and explains, but it's obvious that she's interested in this fascinating combination of topics.

We really enjoyed this tour with our guide Wan who was fantastic. We were able to see places and try foods that only a local knows about. She provided very helpful information about the origin and history of each food.
