Beijing Food Tour

Milly truly made me feel like I had met an old friend of mine in Beijing. It was one of the best tours I’ve ever taken in the city, and I would recommend it to everyone without hesitation. We took a walk that instantly immersed me in the atmosphere of local life in Beijing and broadened my knowledge of the city.

We had a great food tour, the different types of snacks was explained in detail and we learnt about the origins of the food and snacks too. Really enjoyed the little restaurant and trying dishes we wouldn't have otherwise tried. Han has a great knowledge and very easy to understand, a great tour and tour guide.

The tour with Grace was really good, she gave us information on the food and on some spots of the city. The places picked for the food were really good and I thought it was great that a lot of them were snacks and we could buy small portions to try, because of that we tried a lot of different things. She was very attentive, asking If the tour was to our liking and also asked if we had any preferences to adjust the tour, really good!!!

Grace was a great guru, informative and helpful. She even offered to answer any questions I may think of after the tour. She curated my foods as I have dietary issues. This was a great tour with a great host.

Han has ideally managed to convey the connection between food and taste, culture and history. She not only shows around and explains, but it's obvious that she's interested in this fascinating combination of topics.

Han was great, showing us around the no touristy places and where locals eat discovering great new flavors and also explaining the history of some of the dishes and a lot of nice societal details around it! 100% recommended!

We really enjoyed this tour with our guide Wan who was fantastic. We were able to see places and try foods that only a local knows about. She provided very helpful information about the origin and history of each food.

I always look for unique experiences in every country I visit. I was assigned to Phoebe, and she was so gracious in guiding us through the streets of Beijing, trying local food, snacks, tea, and more. She really went above and beyond. It felt like we found a friend in her, along with the other tourists I was with. This local experience was such an amazing treat, especially for travelers like me who might feel shy about ordering at food stalls or unsure about what to try in Beijing.

This tour was so amazing, we appreciated the markets we visited and the street food we ate! The guide was so kind and she talks about interesting historical facts! Really recommended!

We went to the tour at the very end of our stay in Beijing, after having tried a number of dishes and having visited a number of places that were mentioned in the tour, and it was a great way to learn more and to wrap up our trip. She was super nice and very funny, which made our tour all the more enjoyable. I would recommend this tour to everyone!!
