Hi, my name is Natalie Maria Facenna, I am a native English speaker from the United Kingdom of Italian origin and I have been living in Italy for 16 years. I became an official licensed tour guide in 2017 in the city of Palermo where I lived for 9 years and subsequently moved to Catania where I currently live. I graduated from the University of Glasgow in Hispanic Studies and I am a polyglot (Italian, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Catalan). I also completed a Masters in Tourism Management at a University in Milan and I have studied in Spain and Brazil.

Ich fand die Tour mit Natalie sehr interessant. Mal etwas ganz anderes eine Stadt unter dem Astrologischen/Esoterischen Blickwinkel zu entdecken. Leider waren in unserer Gruppe ziemlich respektlose Gäste die nicht bedacht haben, dass sowohl ich als auch Natalie deutsch sprechen. Ich habe mich für das Verhalten und die unpassenden Aussagen ziemlich geschämt. Das wirft kein gutes Licht auf Deutschland.
Natalie was an absolute wealth of knowledge! We had no idea how interesting and layered the history of Catania is! It is really a fascinating place with gorgeous buildings and art, wide boulevards of baroque architecture and excellent food!

The tour guide Natalie was not friendly and very obvious on sympathy or not sympathising with me. Forbid me and my friend to speak about the spots we visited and told us to leave the tour. She was rushing through the spots and didn’t take time to properly explain the historical background. She rejected the payment we wanted to give her because it was to less which is disrespectful and ungrateful. That is an absolute no go.
