Mohamed Youssef - Tour Guide in

I'm disappointed that Mohamed messaged me to inform me the tour would not run on my scheduled date, giving me less than 48 hours before the tour, and without giving any reason for the cancellation. I was on a long flight and this left me scrambling once I landed to find another tour while jet lagged. He then contacted me on WhatsApp to ask ME to reschedule or cancel, rather than just cancelling from his end, and Guruwalk seems to believe I'm the one who failed to show up?? Even if the tour is amazing, if there's a high possibility of it being cancelled, that's something that is important for travelers to know before planning their schedule or otherwise relying on the tour as scheduled.

Very good experience

This was our second tour with Youssef. Our first experience, the Old Cairo Tour was so good that we immediately booked another one with him. Our tour with Youssef was absolutely incredible from start to finish. He picked us up from our accommodation and dropped us off at the end of the day. We started the morning exploring Saqqara, and after lunch, we visited the Giza Plateau. Youssef has an incredible depth of knowledge about Egyptian history and culture, which he shares with passion, humor, and genuine love for his country. We finished the tour feeling like we had learned so much and gained a deeper appreciation for Egypt’s history. If you’re visiting Cairo or Giza, don’t hesitate for a second — take a tour with Youssef!

Youssef was an excellent on the tour of Old Cairo. He filled the missing pieces of history and made my visit complete. Bravo !
