Ehi avventurieri! Il mio nome è Kenia! Sono originario dell'Indonesia, nato in Kenya, e stagionato in Marocco per un intero decennio. Parlo correntemente inglese, francese e indonesiano: sono il tuo ninja della lingua :). Crescere all'estero mi ha regalato un passaporto pieno di amicizie e di amore per la diversa bellezza di paesi e culture. Ora che sono tornato in Indonesia, ho abbracciato la vita da ostello per viaggiatori con lo zaino in spalla, incontrando persone affascinanti di ogni ceto sociale e scambiando allegramente conoscenza. Partecipare a questi incontri in ostello ha acceso il mio desiderio di mostrare la mia incredibile città. Fai scoprire alle persone culture derivanti da migliaia di gruppi etnici, assaporando cucine provenienti da vari angoli dell'Indonesia e immergendoci nelle sue tradizioni uniche. Tuttavia, alcune persone potrebbero dire ai nuovi viaggiatori di "uscire da Giakarta il più velocemente possibile", ma sono qui per dimostrare loro che si sbagliano! Giakarta è il mio parco giochi e non vedo l'ora di mostrare il suo lato vivace, vibrante e decisamente affascinante. Quindi, allacciati le cinture per un tour pieno di risate, deliziose sorprese culinarie e i sorrisi più calorosi che Giakarta ha da offrire. Non sono solo una guida; Sono il tuo compagno divertente, amichevole e sempre disponibile. Rendiamo indimenticabile la tua avventura a Giakarta! 😄🌍🍜
Kenya was not available on that day but she managed to get a proper guide to do the tour instead of her. Andre was very local and knew everyone so it was a very authentic experience among the different street food spots. We even went to a bar to have a drink and listen to some music! We were a small group and Andre was extremely flexible with the time, taste and route to adjust accordingly!
Kenya was a great guide. Everything was well organized. The tour is good to have an overview of the socio-historical context. Timing was perfect not to get tired and we explored the city using also public transportation with tickets provided by Kenia.
Kenya was an amazing tour guide and prepared a great walk-through Jakarta.many people say there’s not much to see in the city, but she proved them wrong with a lot of facts about the history of Indonesia and the city. She gave us a clear image about how every day life of Indonesian is in the city and I was really grateful for attending the tour
Kenya shared alot of about the present-day situation of Jakarta, and the different culture of different parts of Jakarta, which was very interesting to me. We looked at the Jakarta skyline from the library, then took a bus to old town, where she talked about Jakarta sinking and the Dutch colonial history. We tried jamu which was a fun experience, then visited a wayang kulit (and other puppets) shop, and Chinatown, where she also introduced some snacks. We walked for 4.5 hours, it was a pretty extensive introduction to Jakarta. She always checked up on us during the trip, and also gave me food recommendations after which was really nice! We highly recommend Kenya! She was so knowledgeable and gave us a great overview of Jakarta. She also customized the tour to our interests making it a wonderful afternoon.
