Jan è un narratore e guida giramondo che ha vissuto in tre Paesi e che è rimasto così affascinato da Takayama da averla scelta come base della sua vita. Jan was friendly, professional , interesting and very informative . . We learnt so much about Japanese culture and history, in particular about Takayama and Hido area. Highly recommend Jan and hope we meet again.

The tour guide was great. His explanations were interesting and useful giving us more of a view of Japanese culture and way of thinking out of the typical tour of just historical dates. Also Jan's style and way of telling things is very entertaining. The only thing I'd change is that these explanantions could be given in prettier places instead of a parking lot or a old map because you don't see the touristic points but overall it's very recommendable.
We have been on many Guro tours, this is by one of the best in any parameter!!!!!!!
