Mi sono trasferito dal Canada a Tel Aviv con la mia famiglia nel 2018, per sfuggire al freddo, preferendo i razzi alla neve. Ero già stato in Israele: negli anni '90 ho sperimentato lo stile di vita religioso a Gerusalemme, prima di tornare a Toronto, dove ho lavorato come autore di commedie, creando battute per comici emergenti negli Stati Uniti e in Canada. Scrivo anche fumetti (per adulti e bambini). Ho deciso di creare un tour dei luoghi degli attacchi terroristici locali a Tel Aviv dopo essere stato testimone di alcuni di questi attacchi e aver conosciuto personalmente i feriti... e poiché attualmente vivo proprio accanto ai luoghi in cui sono avvenuti, il tour è semplicemente parte della mia vita. Affronto anche i temi più oscuri con un pizzico di umorismo, quindi potete aspettarvi una prospettiva unica quando percorrerete questo tragico cammino con me.
Jeffrey was an exceptional tour guide—warm, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable. At each stop, he didn’t just explain the events and attacks that occurred but also thoughtfully connected them to the broader impact on Israeli society. He struck the perfect balance between seriousness and humor, making sure the experience was meaningful without being too heavy. I especially appreciated how patient and open he was with my questions. The pacing was just right, keeping me engaged the entire time. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tel Aviv who wants a deeper, more personal understanding of its history.

Die Tour ist nicht lustig, sondern gibt einem teife Einblicke in die Wunden und Narben TLVS. Zwischen Cafes und Bars findet man man die Denkmäler an die Terroranschläge. Diese Stadt und die Menschen haben soviel erlebt, mit dem man sich befassen sollte, auch weil es nicht direkt an der Oberfläche ist. Menschen hier waren und sind weiterhin Angriffen ausgesetzt, als Tourist:in ist es das mindeste sich auch damit zu befassen.

Jeffrey gave a very informative tour of some sites in Tel Aviv where tragic bombings and terrorist attacks occurred. He had a binder with photos and backgrounds on some of the victims which made the tour more poignant. I was the only person on the tour and I appreciated that he did not cancel as a result. He also gave some good tips on food spots and other places to visit during my short stay in Tel Aviv.
