Ciao! Sono Wahida, conosciuta anche come Angel, una guida turistica professionista di Singapore con 7 anni di esperienza e una buongustaia da sempre che vive, respira e mangia davvero questa città. Sono cresciuta in una famiglia che da anni fa parte dell'industria alimentare di Singapore, quindi la cultura dei venditori ambulanti è sempre stata per me un po' come casa. Come cuoca casalinga appassionata, amo condividere come vengono preparati i nostri piatti, le storie che ci sono dietro e dove trovare i sapori che la gente del posto mangia davvero. Con me, non solo assaggerete il cibo, lo capirete. Prima di fare la guida, ho trascorso 10 anni come insegnante di materie umanistiche. Le esperienze maturate mi hanno insegnato a entrare in contatto con le persone, a spiegare la cultura in modo chiaro e a organizzare tour fluidi e coinvolgenti. Angel is very passionate about Singapore and the food on the tour. We stopped at a lot of Michelin cheap eats and I had delicious snacks and meals. I really enjoyed the day and will highly recommend
We had a wonderful experience with Angel. She is knowledgeable, passionate about food and people, and moreover she is kind. She introduced us to vendors and cooks and we had some lovely interactions thst we never would have had in our own. Could not have asked for a better experience. The concept of a “free” food tour where you choose what food to purchase worked great for us. We were not overly full at the end of the tour and we had received a lot of interesting information so that we could return later to sample more of the dishes. In addition to the food, Angel explained some of the history and culture of Chinatown and Singapore in general. I would do this again. Highly recommended.
It was a very informative tour about the history of Singapore. We got to visit a lot of Hawker stalls and got to taste some dishes we liked. Wahida took our dietary restrictions into account and gave us a really pleasant experience. If you are a foodie and want to experience new tastes, this tour is definitely for you!
