Free walking tours in San Cristobal de las Casas

Anna was super interesting and really knew her history and facts. We really enjoyed this walk and would highly recommend it to anybody who has a few days in town.

This tour was very educational and we learnt a lot of background life in San Cris purely from the mural paintings alone. We visited several churches and were shown where to buy amber in the markets. We tried coffee samples during the walk and finished up sampling pox ( posh) in a delightful courtyard setting. Our female guide was very passionate about Mexican traditions and spoke very good English

Anna was personable and extremely knowledgeable about Mexican history and the present day culture of the area. I would highly recommend her

Really great tour in and just outside the central historical area. Lots of tips on places to return to or follow up after the walk. Very helpful introduction to far and recent history of the area including the behaviour of some multinationals, the national government, and how more local autonomous and indigenous groups are holding their own. Lots of opportunities for local tasters too. Cannot recommend highly enough

One of the best free tours we have ever experienced. We learned a great deal about San Cristobal, saw many sites, moved at a good pace and picked up some good tips of places to visit, drink and eat after the tour.

Brilliant tour to get a sense of San Cristobal and what there is to see. Good visit to the markets and interesting insight into what’s happening around San Cris with some political murals ans highlighting of different local movements. Good free coffee tasting stop too and good recommendations

Phenomenal experience. If you are only in San Cris for a few days a great way to see highlights. Our guide was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and offered many suggestions on local restaurants, museums, vendors etc. to check out.

We vonden de tour gegeven door Laura heel erg leuk. Ze heeft ons niet alleen de stad laten zien, maar ook lokale producten laten proeven, veel informatie gegeven over de tradities en streetart en gaf tips over de hotspots in de stad (zoals cafe’s, eten en leuke dingen om te doen). Al bij al een hele informatieve tour.

I could not recommend this tour enough. Our guide was so inspiring and knowledgable about this wonderful place - San Cristobal de Las Casas. We tried local coffee and Pox, learned about the history of the city and Chiapas, learned a lot about the different cultures present, had a tour of the street art and got top tips on where to shop & eat! This is by far the best walking tour I have ever done!

Our guide was really friendly and informative. I learnt a lot about San Cristobal and thoroughly enjoyed being shown around the city, we visited multiple places and even tried some local drinks. We were left with lots of recommendations for the rest of our trip. Thank you! ☺️
