Luisa is extremely knowledgeable and is an open book. She is receptive to questions and is thorough at explaining all about the history and significance of a location regardless if it is buildings, art, or a market. I highly recommend taking this tour for a well-balanced experience. You should take this tour as among one of the first things you do when you get to San Cristobal because the guide provides additional tour resources and also a map guide of popular tourist places around San Cristobal. A great introduction to your adventure!

Loved this tour. It’s a great introduction to San Cristobal, with fascinating insights into the history, different communities and cultures, the politics, the art. Our guide, Daniel, was great, really engaged us and made time to answer all our questions. Highly recommended!

Whoa, what an amazing tour! Laura is such a lovely soul, she explained a lot about Indian heritage of San Cristobal de Las Casas, showed us the local market, a local coffee store, many beautiful murals in less touristy part of town and finally finished with a pox tasting session! I LOVED this tour and I'm so happy we managed to book it. Perfect combination of good vibes, nice places and interesting facts about the region from a true LOCAL

Interesante tour. Recomiendo. Pero fue demasiado rápido en algunos momentos y el grupo demasiado grande.

Luisa was simply the best! She took us to some places that are beautiful yet little know to tourists. Also gave us a lot of recommendations on where to eat & drink, and shop for local arts. 2.5 hrs were not enough!

We had a fabulous tour with Daniel. It was incredibly informative and entertaining. His knowledge of the area and surrounding communities is excellent and really insightful. We learned a lot and had a great time.

El guía muy simpatico tenía muchos conocimientos nos habló de historia, arte, cultura. Recorrimos el centro, mercados, arte callejera. Nos consejó donde comprar artesanías y como reconocer los productos autenticos. Recomendo el tour :)

Es la segunda vez que hago el tour con Daniel. La primera vez fue hace 3 años y en acuerdo que me gustó muchísimo. Está vez lo superó, lo ha perfeccionado. Creo que es el mejor tour que he tenido, y he hecho muchos.

Lo pasé muy bien. It was a great experience!! We were a very small group and I was the only one who spoke Spanish. Our tour guide Daniel was quite knowledgeable and attentive enough to explain to me in Spanish if there was something I didn't catch. This was my first experience with GuruWalk and it was an awesome one! Definitely motivates me to try the app again with other tours in the future.

One of the best walking tours we ever did!

We got a 2 1/2 hours tour of the historical center of San Cristobal with an additional short Pox tasting as well as a chocolate tasting. Our guide was very friendly and provided a lot of interesting information.

One of the best walking tours I have ever been on. The focus on contemporary events and the way of life of the locals is very well done.

We really enjoyed this tour as it included so many different aspects of the city such as street art, markets, cathedrals and viewpoints. We later returned back to visit many of the places. We also got to try Pox and Tascalate which was really fun. We particularly enjoyed all of the interesting information about the local politics and social issues. Would def recommend!
