Amazing tour in a small town. Jan was a good tour guide and gave great recommendations for things to do afterwards. I was worried that I would not have enough to do on my 3 day stay in Takayama and I’m glad I did this tour on the first day because it gave me plenty to do afterwards. 10/10 would recommend.

This tour was amazing! Jan takes you off the beaten path, I was so amazed to see the beautiful characteristic streets empty for me to take photographs. He tells a lot of interesting stories, all in all, I really loved it ❤️

Jan was an incredible guide and shared his passion for Takayama, with tips on where to eat and drink too. He talked to us on such a variety of topics, from Japanese culture and religion, to where to get the best ramen in town! We have done several Guru walks during our 2 week stay in Japan but his was the best!
