Free walking tours in Valencia

I had a great time on Emi’s free tour! She’s fun, easygoing, and makes everything super interesting. I loved her explanation about paella — apparently I’ve just been eating “rice with things” until now 😂. The 1.5 hours went by so fast. I’d totally do it again!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ (4/5) The tour was really nice, and I truly appreciated that it was confirmed despite the bad weather forecast — that was a big plus! The guide was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, and even gave us a printed list of recommended local restaurants and places to eat, which was a lovely and useful touch. However, the organization by Spain Free Tour could definitely be improved. I sent a confirmation message through GuruWalk, and although they kindly replied, they didn’t mention that the meeting point had changed. It was nearby, but still confusing to find, and when I called, the directions were quite unclear. Also, the phone number on the tour page didn’t include the Spanish country code, which made it harder to contact them. The tour lasted around 1 hour and 40 minutes instead of the full 2 hours, and the guide didn’t suggest taking a group photo or any pictures together, which could have been a nice way to use the extra time. Additionally, the tour didn’t include Turia Park or the Oceanogràfic, which some people might expect. Overall, it was a positive experience thanks to the guide’s attitude and explanations, but the company’s organization and itinerary clarity could be improved.

Francy is friendly, well informed, flexible and very engaging. We have been to Valencia before, but our time with Francy gave us new insights and awareness of Valencia's diverse architecture and its associated history. We also appreciated her local knowledge of Valencian life, good places to explore and to enjoy good tapas.

Quique nos brindó un excelente recorrido que él mismo ha creado e investigado incluyendo tres círculos de murallas históricas. Ha residido en Valencia por años, pero aún así tenía un espíritu de entusiasmo al mostrar las sorprendentes ubicaciones de estos murallas ocultas dentro de la ciudad. También nos dio sugerencias de lugares interesantes para visitar y lugares agradables para comer durante nuestra visita a València. ¡Muchas gracias Quique!

Granada was wonderful! She knows and loves the city and the tour was exactly what we were hoping for. We will always search first for GuruWalk when we visit a new city. Go at the beginning of your stay so you know what you want to spend more time on.

Gabe is very knowledgeable about the history of Valencia and knows a lot of interesting facts which he shares in a funny and easy manner. We were on a tour with a 4-year old and he tailored the route to accommodate child’s requirements and make it interesting for her too. All in all can highly recommend Gabe to introduce you to València.

Eduardo is an amazing tour guide and very kind. I ended ip being the only person on this 4 hour bike tour of the Albufera, but Eduardo still insisted on doing the tour, which was very kind of him as I was the only one on the tour and other tour guides usually cancel their tours when they think there are not enough people. Eduardo was insightful, a true Valencian local who had loads of information to share. The ride was a real pleasure and Eduardo insisted on sending over after the tour ended extra information which was very nice also. I highly recommend this tour, thank you Eduardo!

Today I have enjoyed the experience of tyris tour. Thanks to the tour guide Ulises I have been able to learn about the history of Valencia as well as some curiosities of the city. I will never forget the city of Valencia, it is something that I will take with me forever

The Tour with John was very enjoyable, he's a laidback open guy who can answer all questions and gives helpful tips for your stay in Valencia. Would recommend, especially as the tour in the evening has a nicer temperature for a walk than the afternoon.

I ended up being the only one on the tour but that did not stop her from giving a super tour. I could see she is passionate and very knowledgeable about Valencia. Absolutely recommend

We loved the bike tour and the places we visited, we were so happy our guide gave us local recommendations and history that is uncommon to find elsewhere!

I really appreciated that Valentyn was willing to take me on the trip by myself even after all the other participants canceled. That is way above and beyond the call of duty! He also tailored the trips to my desire, we visited a nearby town and explored some amazing Roman ruins and enjoyed the local village life. Valentin is friendly, knowledgeable, great company and was a good guide and nice companion to meet and talk with. I highly recommend going with him!

Good Intro to the Subject!

Juan gave us an awesome tour. He was very engaging and energetic. We could tell he is very passionate about his hometown- Valencia. He is very knowledgeable about the history of Valencia and we greatly appreciated how he weaved the history of Valencia in a compelling way with what we saw during the tour of Old Town Valencia. Since Silk was such an important part of the history of Valencia knowing more about this beautiful product is just amazing and what better than to see the important places like La Lonja and the silk museum with very experienced information.
