Tereza was an amazing guide, she was bursting with enthusiasm. Her pride in her native city was evident, her knowledge of history of the city and Czech Republic was top class. She was able to answer most questions. She has an excellent speaking voice and command of English, and a lovely sense of humour. At the end of the tour she added in a visit to some beautiful gardens, and pointed us in the direction of her favourite ice cream shop!

I joined the Free Walking Tour "Tour durch die Prager Neustadt" in English on a Friday and had a very enjoyable experience, despite our group being unusually small due to several no-shows. Our guide, Via, was excellent—professional, engaging, and clearly passionate about Czech history. She brought the past 100 years of the country’s story to life with a dramatic and expressive storytelling style that made the tour feel almost theatrical at times. Her use of a tablet to show historical photos added great visual context and helped deepen the understanding of the places we visited. The route through Prague’s New Town was thoughtfully selected, covering all the key spots connected to the city’s modern history. Via's English was easy to understand, and she kept the energy high throughout the entire tour. I can highly recommend both the tour and Via as a guide for anyone interested in a rich, well-presented look at Prague’s more recent past.
