About the Guru

For the past three years Kaupo (or master Cedric Stimmlich by his medieval name) has been entertaining guests of Tallinn from near and far. After realizing that his home is one of the most well-preserved medieval towns in the world, and inspired by his friends, Cedric took to the streets and has been earning a living as a street performer and a tour guide since May 2018.

About the Tour

Tales of Reval is a new way of experiencing the city of Tallinn. Our job is not to fill your heads with names and numbers, but instead we want to make you proud of the fact that you have discovered Tallinn - the hidden pearl of the Baltic Sea!

What makes Tales of Reval special is that we have combined traditional guiding with street performance and storytelling, thus creating a fully immersive experience into the history of Tallinn. This means that the people coming to our show will actually pay attention, and remember the place that they visited.

Experience the remarkable tale of the Hansa Merchants, join in on a journey back in time, and come celebrate the 800-th birthday of Tallinn with us!

Meeting point: Open in Google Maps

How to find me: In front of the Tourist Information Centre seek out the medieval merchant with a very big flag saying "Tales of Reval FREE TOUR"

Thank you very much! I really enjoy the moments, when walking tour veterans come to our journey and are pleasantly surprised at how unique it is - it truly makes me appreciate what we are doing. Thank you for the beautiful review and 5 stars! -Cedric

I did the tour twice so far and can recommend it highly to everyone, who wants to learn things about the historical Tallinn that you would never find out about on your own! Both Cedric and Gregorius are lovely and passionate people and guarantee you a highly entertaining and interesting tour through the wonderful Old Town. I would do it again anytime :)

Response from Cedric
Thank you, Felix! After four months it feels super nice to get such a praise for what we enjoy doing :). Thanks for keeping our mood high, I'm super glad you enjoyed the show enough to come twice - and you are always welcome back (you still have 3 more guides to see)! On behalf of m'self and Gregorius, the best of luck on your journeys! :) -Cedric

Our tour around Tallinn was led by George. It was an amazing and interactive way to visit the old town and learn more about its history. We had a blast and would definitely do it again. He also suggested a really nice local restaurant to have lunch. Highly recommended!

Response from Cedric
Thank you kindly for the positive comment! I'm happy to hear you enjoyed your walk with George. I hope the rest of your journey will be as entertaining, and wherever you go, may St Nicholas bless you! -Cedric

Had such a good time at this tour! It was really something else and exactly what I was looking for since I do not like the usual boring walking tours. The tour guide was really engaged and created a well-rounded story. Learned a lot of interesting stories and facts during the walk. If you have the chance, go join this tour. Also sorry I came totally ill-prepared to the tour and unfortunately could not give as much as I wanted to / as the tour guide deserved. !

Response from Cedric
Thank you! I'm very happy you enjoyed the walk with master Gregorius, got to feel the magic of storytelling, and felt engaged with our tales. May St Nicholas bless you on your journeys! -Cedric
