Hello, I am Ariel, and I have lived in this City for approximately 5 years, where I have not only enjoyed its hot summers but also its winters and its spectacular nightlife. I love interaction with people and meeting new cultures, and that is why I decided to start with this new adventure in GuruWalk. Although I have specialized studies in human resources, I am also passionate about history and that leads me to get involved in everything to do in the city where I live. I hope to meet you and together enjoy Boston, the cradle of America .. Greetings!!
About the tour
On this tour I invite you to visit one of the most fascinating major cities in United States: Boston. A city full of history, surrounded by mysteries and secrets not yet discovered, with its traditions and art, with ancient places, with a colonial past and a contemporary, multi-cultural present. Boston is also called the intelligent state, for housing the most prestigious centers of higher education such as: Harvard and the very famous MIT, among others.
A city that not only can be enjoyed in summer but in any season, even in its cold winter. Boston also has a very active nightlife, nothing to envy to other cities in the world. Anyway, there is much to talk about this city and of course much to see.
What are we going to visit:
-The first tour begins on Freedom trail. It is a route of 4 km, through the center of the city, with key points of the history of Bostón and the American revolution. This trail passes through 16 significant places (some more than others) in the history of the city and United States, including Boston Common, the Massachusetts Parliament, the Bunker Hill Monument in Charlestown, cemeteries such as Granary Burying Ground and Copp's Hill , churches, notable buildings and a naval frigate.
-The second tour would be about Beacon Hill, a neighborhood of Boston, which covers approximately one square mile (2.6 km²) and home to around 10,000 people. It is known for its narrow streets and brick sidewalks, and today it is considered one of the most expensive neighborhoods in the city. It is named after the location of an old lighthouse above the highest point in downtown Boston, once located just behind the current site of the State House. The entire hill was owned by William Blaxton, the first settler in Boston from 1625 to 1635, who finally sold his land to the Puritans.
You can also customize the tour according to your cultural, recreational, gastronomic interests, etc. We set up the route according to your preferences.
The minimum is 02 people and the maximum 07 as "free tours".
The whole tour will be done on foot, any type of transport, whether public or private, is at your expense, as well as personal expenses, food or recreation, etc.
Our meeting point is mostly the center of the City taking as a reference the train station in Government Center and the duration is variable, the contact will be made no less than 7 days in advance.
Keep in mind that the first tour (Freedom Trail) will take place during the morning and the second tour (Beacon Hill) from 2.00 pm.
