About the tour
During this amazing experience of the towns of Antigua Guatemala, you will visit and know the chocolate house where you will learn the history and production of cocoa in the colorful town of San Juan del Obispo. Then, we will take the tour in the wine house where you will know the history and its production, and the different flavors of wine made by hand, in addition to visiting the museum of the bishop's residence of the first bishop of Guatemala, Francisco Marroquin,
After that we will visit the colorful village of San Pedro las Huertas, very famous for its ultra-baroque church dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, and its water tank that is the largest in Antigua Guatemala. You will also take a handmade jade tour, where an expert will give you all the information related to jade, very important for the Mayan civilization,
At the end of our second town we will visit the colorful town of San Antonio Aguascalientes, very famous for its colorful handicraft market, its typical handmade fabrics by the artisan women of the town, and its beautiful church.
During the tour we will commute by "chicken bus", so we must take the public transport service to reach these villages. It is really worth taking this tour because you will live an unforgettable and unique experience.
