About the Tour

Join City Walks Krakow to delve into the city's Medieval past. From its humble beginnings as a merchant town, to its transformation into a royal city and once, the capital of Poland; Krakow has one of the most fascinating histories in Europe!

Journey with us into the past, as we explore the cobbled streets once walked by famed astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus and see the former home of Pope John Paul II- Poland's most famous son. Along the way we will visit Krakow's royal castle and cathedral, see the city's famous Cloth Hall and listen intently as the St. Mary's trumpeter plays his hourly call from St. Mary's Basilica. Krakow was the first city in the World to be made a UNESCO world heritage site and on this tour you will find out what makes it so special.

Best decision I made on our first morning in Krakow was joining Dale on the Old Town Tour. We would have been oblivious to the many things our knowledgeable guide Dale pointed out to us and the hidden gems he took us too. We had such a fantastic experience we joined Dale on the afternoon Jewish quarter tour. Dale thanks for the excellent service and for giving us such a memorable time.

Dale was our guide on Tuesday 29 September. The sights were magnificent and Dale presented so well, a mind of information. Very highly recommended tour, on your own you would see but wouldn’t learn.
