A journey back in time with the Writers Route in Marchena

Visit the places in Marchena where immortal writers, from Cervantes to Cela, passed through. We began in Santa María with Sister María de la Antigua and San Juan de la Cruz, and continued to Plaza Miguel de Cervantes to discuss the author of Don Quixote when he was in the service of Manuel Ponce de León. In the Casa de la Ave María, which belonged to the family of the sculptor Coullaut Valera, we'll discuss his relationship with Bécquer and his relationship with the poet Antonia Díaz. In the Alcazaba Roundabout, we'll discuss Ibn Arabi and Shams Om Al Fuqara. We'll pass by Dr. Diego Sánchez to discuss Díez de la Cortina and Pío Baroja, and in the Plaza Vieja, we'll discuss the philosopher Rancio, Somerseth Maugham, and Antonia Díaz.
