At Estación México, we believe that discovering a city begins with walking and allowing yourself to be surprised by what it holds in its memory. Our project is designed to offer tours that reveal the hidden wonders of each place. Based on the principle of reciprocity, we enthusiastically share our knowledge, joy, and personality to convey the best stories and myths that safeguard centuries of heritage. We love walking with you while recounting the most significant moments of the local culture, those that bring its streets, plazas, and traditions to life. Estación México is not a travel agency; it is a community created to share a love for the history and cultural richness of each city.

Tour description

Discover Paseo Montejo accompanied by local guides who will take you to some of the most beloved and representative spaces of Mérida, in an intimate experience full of history.

We'll start at the Monument to Montejo and Son, a perfect spot to understand how the city was founded. Just a few steps away you'll find the Twin Houses, two identical houses that always attract attention and have become a classic photo opportunity.

We'll continue to the Felipe Carrillo Puerto Monument, where we'll discover the story of one of the state's most important figures. Further along, we'll see El Minaret Mansion, a very unique place that stands out for its tower and special charm.

Along the way, we'll visit the Museum of Anthropology, ideal for learning more about Mayan roots and the history of the region. We'll also pass by Quinta Montes Molina, a traditional house that preserves many details of old Mérida. The tour continues with the Monument to Justo Sierra, dedicated to a great Mexican thinker, and ends at the impressive Monument to the Fatherland, one of the city's most recognizable landmarks and a fitting end to this tour.

A relaxed tour, full of local history, anecdotes, and special corners known only to locals. 👣
