Tour description

Explore Paseo Montejo, one of the most beloved and representative spaces of Mérida, in a close and history-filled experience that will hold a special place in your memory.

We will start at the Monument to Montejo and Son, a perfect point to understand how the city was born. Just a few steps away, you will find the Twin Houses, two identical houses that always catch the eye and have become a classic for photos.

We will continue to the Monument to Felipe Carrillo Puerto, where we will discover the history of one of the most important figures of the state. Further ahead is the El Minaret Mansion, a very peculiar site that stands out for its tower and special charm.

Along the way, we will visit the Museum of Anthropology, ideal for learning a bit more about the Mayan roots and the history of the region. We will also pass by the Quinta Montes Molina, a traditional house that preserves many details of the Mérida of yesteryear. The tour continues with the Monument to Justo Sierra, dedicated to a great Mexican thinker, and ends at the impressive Monument to the Fatherland, one of the most recognized places in the city and a great conclusion to this walk.

A relaxed tour, full of local history, anecdotes, and special corners that only those who live here know.  👣
