In total we offer 3 Free Walking Tours around the city of Hamburg:
- The historic city center of Hamburg, starting at 11:15 am in the town hall square
- The historic city center of warehouses starting at 2:45 pm below Baumwall station
- The historic port center and the red-light district, starting at the docks on bridge 5 at 5:30 pm
Here we offer our Free Tour of the Warehouse City, which starts at 2:45 pm below the Baumwall tube station. We'll be waiting for you here every day except Mondays with our blue umbrellas ready to go. We'll depart from here and enter the Warehouse City, passing by places like:
· The Elba Philharmonic
· The "Kaffeerösterei"
· The boiler house
· The "Burg" café
· The water castle "Wasserschlößchen"
The meeting point is the square below the "Baumwall" station at the exit to the Elbe Philharmonic.
Tour duration: 100 minutes
And then at 5:30 pm there's a tour of the port and the red-light district, where the Beatles started their career. What you'll see:
• The old Elbe tunnel
· The "Fischmarkt" fish market
· The "Reeperbahn"
· The "Herbertstrasse"
· Commissioner "Davidwache"
· Beatles Square
And there's still a tour of the old town. The historic center tour starts at 11:15 am in the town hall square. Here you will see:
• The Hamburg City Council
· The Church of St. Petri
· The "Hammaburg" square
· The Church of St. Nikolai"
· The "Deichstrasse" and much more
