Hi, I guess you already guessed that my name is Jorge ... so I will tell you a little about myself. I am a senior tourism technician, official guide of the Junta de Andalucía and guide in the Alhambra (although the latter only has the merit of presenting the guide card at the monument's offices). What is passionate about the city and history I skip it because if it weren't, I would dedicate myself to something else. What I do tell you is that I focus on the shadows created by the official focus of the story that, normally, was written by people who collected money and could not speak ill of the boss. If you are looking for legends, better book with another Guru because I believe in the topic that reality always surpasses fiction.

Tour description
Do you want to visit the Albayzín and Sacromonte exceeding the "user level knowledge"? Do you want to know the roots of Andalusia through the memory that permeates the customs, words and character of the Andalusian people?
"Tales Without Bacon" is a visit that escapes the focus (full of fat) of the official story, which prevents us from knowing the past with clarity. In this Free Tour we will know the history of Granada talking about the Roman Empire, Al Ándalus, Flamenco, the Civil War, Lorca, Obama ...
What you will do:
- Enjoy walking through impressive places in groups of no more than ten participants.
- Visit the Albayzín and the Sacromonte knowing their history from the point of view of the natives.
- Contemplate Granada from much more beautiful places than the typical view offered by the Mirador de San Nicolás.
- Live a unique thematic experience that focuses on the lives of Andalusians who loved, suffered, fought and enjoyed in this ancient city.
- We finish next to the Great Mosque (a few meters from where we started).
Advice:
- If you are going to visit the Alhambra, take this tour beforehand, it will make the monument enter you, which is not the same as entering the monument.
- To get to the meeting point, you can access from Plaza Nueva with the C31 and C32 minibuses ("Plaza San Nicolás" stop).
- If you are 10 minutes before starting, I appreciate it.
- Sports shoes, comfortable clothes and water (some cost we will go up).
