With its exposed red brick, neo-Gothic architectural style and wooden pile foundations, it is the world's largest port warehouse complex. Located in the Port of Hamburg, near HafenCity, it is crisscrossed by bridges and canals where valuable goods such as coffee, tea, cocoa, spices, tobacco, and the world's largest warehouse of oriental carpets are stored.
