Free guided walking tour of Regensburg

We booked the tour at the last minute, and to our surprise, we were the only ones there. We had Johannes all to ourselves and really enjoyed it; he answered all our questions, and thanks to his knowledge, we were able to immerse ourselves in Regensburg’s history as we walked through its streets. His recommendations for restaurants and nightlife spots were excellent. We highly recommend it.

Johannes has the perfect personality for a tour guide and made me feel comfortable as a solo tourist. He made sure he included the topics I was interested in and provided great info days prior to the tour. He was genuine and approachable, thanks Johannes!

Johannes ist ein super sympathischer guide, der gut auf seine Gäste eingeht. Er kann interessant und witzig über Regensburg erzählen und hat ein grosses Wissen über die Geschichte und Kultur der Stadt. Wir waren nur zu zweit, so dass die Tour sehr individuell war. Eine absolute Empfehlung bei einem Besuch in Regensburg.

I had the best time on the tour. Johannes the guide was extremely detailed in his explanations and was also proud and excited to share the history of the town with me. It almost felt like I was walking through roman era regensburg. He was extremely kind and helpful and also patient. He also had answers to all my questions and the information I learnt on the tour was quite interesting and fun. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. This is the best way to explore regensburg. It was such a lovely immersive experience. I won't forget this anytime soon. I recommend this to anyone who really wants to get to know regensburg through the eyes of a well versed local.
