Free walking tours in Heidelberg

Great way to find out more about Heidelberg. The tour packed a lot of learning about the history and culture of the city into the two hours!

I’ve done free walks in Warsaw, Munich and Heidelberg, all right as I arrive. This has proven to be the best way to have a quick overview of the places and I can decide which spots I will spend more time to explore over the few days I was there. Highly recommend the walks.

Such a good experience to get to know the town, wouldn’t hesitate to book.

Unfortunately quite a large group which made the experience feel less personal, also I would have enjoyed a longer walking route. Guide was very well informed and also interested in history, that was great!

Unser Guide Henry hat uns mit seinem schönen feinen englischen Humor sehr unterhaltsam und informativ 90 Minuten durch Heidelberg geführt. Es war nicht nur lustig, sondern auch lehrreich und kommunikativ. Wir zwei haben die Führung gemeinsam mit einer jungen Spanierin gemacht und hatten so eine nette, gemeinsame Zeit, dass wir noch den Rest des Tages mit ihr verbracht haben. Henry war super interessiert, wer wir sind und wir hatten einfach einen tollen Vormittag ! Thanks, Henry !

A most enjoyable tour with lots of history and many places of interest covered.

The tour had great content. We did not walk much around. Maybe more walking and stopping points can be added 😊

Great tour with even greater hostess

Obwohl ich vorher schon ein Mal in Heidelberg war, konnte ich einige neue Ecken in der Altstadt entdecken und habe viel über die Geschichte Heidelbergs gelernt. Es war eine sehr schöne Tour und Victor hat uns super viele Empfehlungen gegeben. Wir hatten eine sehr gute Zeit auf der Tour :)

Great way to get some knowledge about the city and to understand the layout of the old town. It’s also quite fun.

Halina is sweet and professional. I enjoyed the 2 hours.

Philip was very good and knowledgeable but occasionally couldn't find the correct English word/expression to answer a few of our questions. As there were only 4 of us on the tour I appreciate that we might have bombarded him with a lot of questions and they might not always have related to the information he was giving us at time. Overall it was really interesting and informative.

Dina did a fantastic tour for us - we really enjoyed it.
