Complete Bucharest with a Local - Highlights, Life under Comunism and Fun
The tour lasts 2 hours and 15 minutes
Available in English
Description
Do you want to explore Bucharest with a passionate local guide ? Look no further ! I am a huge fan of history and the stories that make the city I am visiting. That’s why in this tour we wont just focus on random historical stuff , like at a college lecture, but more on stories collected from others or myself and combine it with the history of the city so you can have a better view about daily life now and during communism. Some ancient history included aswell.
As i am not a fan of huge guided tours , i will limit this experience to maximum 25 people.
After the tour your will be ready for your Bucharest exploration ! You will learn what to eat, what not eat but most importantly we will have fun, laugh, learn and enjoy our time in this fascinating city that I call home ! So join me and we will:
- Find out about the dark history of communism , the biggest anti-comunism Revolution ever and see the second largest building in the world , The House of the People,
- See a wonderful passage between the old town and Victory Avenue,
- Explore the old Town and hear stories about people that lived here
- Hear about how strange life was during communism
- See one of the most beautiful churches in the city center , Stavropoleos and find out it's history,
- Get food recommendations (non-tourist traps ),
- And more !
- What we won't see - vampires
So join me and let’s have fun !
Euros, Dollars and Lei are accepted as tips! Most people support this tour with a minimum of €10 depending on how much they enjoyed it (GuruWalk takes 3.4 euros for each person who booked)!
