Free Tour through the History and Culture of Guadalajara

Welcome everyone to the second most important city in Mexico and one of the most beautiful cities! Join us as we take a journey through the history of Guadalajara, discovering the moments that have shaped the course of this city, from its founding, through its history to the present day. Guadalajara is a city with many stories and curiosities to tell, let's get to know them!

We will start our tour with the most iconic and famous building in our city: the Cathedral, where we will learn about the legends it hides and its peculiar architecture. We will continue to the Rotunda square to learn about the stories of notable figures from our city.

We will appreciate the Government Palace museum, which was once a fortress and today features impressive murals by José Clemente Orozco, and we will continue our tour to admire the beautiful architecture of the Degollado Theater.

We will visit the site where our city was founded and learn some curious facts about its founding almost 500 years ago!

We will walk through the alleys that hold ancient legends and end our tour at a beautiful museum that is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site: the Cabañas Museum.
