Loved the tour. Alex was extremely knowledgeable, he spoke English like a native and he patiently answered all of my questions. He also made the tour fun by sharing traditional Mexican songs with the group, and taught us a lot of new information, even to those of us who have been in Guadalajara for a while!

Ivan is a very personable man, he is a Guadalajara native and knows the city and its history well. His English is excellent and he speaks Italian too, if its ever needed. Bonus for us was that we were the only ones that had booked so we had a private tour. Highly recommended.

I previously had the Guadalajara downtown tour with Walt and he told be about this close neighborhood and took some of his wonderful restaurant recommendations. So when I heard about this other track I knew I would enjoy it and I’m happy to say I was not disappointed! Colonia Americana is my new MUST DO recommendation for any old or new visitor at Guadalajara :)

Santiago was very accommodating. We booked a tour only a couple of hours before the actual time of the tour and although the tour wasn't confirmed we went to the meeting spot. Unfortunately, Santiago appeared not to have any other tourists booked at that time so he didn't show up, but we did communicate with him via GuruWalk and he offered to meet with us later in the day and give us the tour. We scheduled a time and Santiago met us at the time and place we agreed upon.
We found the tour quite informative and provided us with a glimpse into some of the interesting history of Guadalajara. I would highly recommend as a tour guide.

It's strange how they advertise it as Sergios tour when the guru isn't Sergio. Our guru Mari was very knowledgeable and kept the tour fun. The one upsetting part was when booking the tour we were told the guru would be waiting for us at the meeting spot at 11am. We arrived just before and they had already left, so we went into the hostel and asked the staff to help us find the tour group. Discovering the tour was advertised on their wall for 1045am so it makes sense why they had already left. Luckily we were able to track them down searching around the first couple tour spots. The communication with Sergio through the Guruwalk website was unsuccessful.

This tour a quick and easy way to view the main historical center of the city. Sergio is very knowledgeable and has a lot of charisma. We were a group of 6 and all of us give Sergio and the tour a 10/10. We would rather tip these kinds of tours than pay for a commercial one that isn't as private or unique.

We did the tour with Monica. We were the only guys in the group, so it was kind of a private tour. It was informative and she also brought us to some place we could try local drinks and ice cream. We would recommend it to everyone.
