Luteciatours is a new and independent project of two Spaniards with more than 9 years of experience as guides in Paris, in which we are concerned with the direct and specific treatment of the needs of each tourist. We will tell you all the ins and outs and beauty of this beautiful city, as if you had a friend who lives and experiences the magnificence of this city. You can also follow us on our Instagram and see photos of our tours. Lutecia_tours ☺ we are waiting for you to show you our city.
Paris and Montmartre are one, apart from the unique charm of the place, we want to let you know about its present and past in order to enjoy and feel part of this beautiful neighborhood . Famous artists such as Van Gogh and Picasso himself lived here. They frequented its streets and venues in search of inspiration. Currently, art is still present.
We will begin the visit with its famous Red Light District, its cabarets and the famous Moulin Rouge, a true symbol of Paris and the Belle Epoque, and the Moulin de la Galette, declared a Historic Monument in 1939.
In the bohemian neighborhood of Paris par excellence, everything is impregnated by that character where freedom and equality are felt more than anywhere else, its streets are full of cafes, terraces and artists who paint and enjoy Montmartre life. And if this neighborhood is famous for something, it is undoubtedly for having been the home of the sweet Amèlie Poulin, throughout our tour we will surely remember different scenes and places from the film such as the Café des deux moulins.
Our walk will end in the surroundings of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart , we can add little about one of the symbols of Europe and one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the world. Construction began in 1875 and its tower reaches 83 meters in height. An imposing basilica that undoubtedly dominates the entire horizon and from where we can enjoy one of the best panoramic views of Paris, if not the best.
During the visit you will enjoy and get to know the most emblematic and essential places of the famous Montmartre neighborhood , as difficult as it is to describe the neighborhood in its entirety, this is only a small brushstroke of the tour, just as a magician does not reveal his tricks, we As guides, we want you to let yourself be carried away and be surprised by our places of passage and the extraordinary stories that you will find on our way.
Right next to the Blanche metro exit (line 2), a metro station with only one exit, we carry a black umbrella
