What you'll hear
Not a list of dates. A thousand years of plots, scandals, royal arguments and cover-ups — the messy human truth behind the palaces, told the way it should be: as stories. I'm Andrew, born in London, and I've spent 20 years as a Covent Garden street performer learning exactly what makes a story land.
And then there's the magic
Because once a street performer, always a street performer: three or four moments of live close-up magic, woven through the walk — in your hands, at the foot of monuments. The history is the headline. The magic is what makes it stick. (Ask Alexander, May 2026: "I really don't know how he did this magic rope trick... great showman.")

Guide: Andrew
Guiding since 2022PRO
Hi, I'm Andrew. I've spent 20 years as a Covent Garden street performer, making West End crowds laugh, gasp and remember on the same cobbles where I now meet my tour guests.
Two decades of working a live audience teaches you one thing fast: a story either lands or it doesn't. I've poured that hard-won instinct into this tour — the result is a walk through Westminster that feels less like a guided tour and more like having a friend who happens to be a magician and a history obsessive show you around.
I specialise in London's weirdest, funniest and most unexpected stories — the ones that don't make it into the guidebooks. Come along and I promise you'll leave with tales worth retelling at dinner.
Can't wait to meet you under the red umbrella.
