Tour description

Welcome to Tokyo🗼! Would you like to dive into Japanese history and discover two of its most important religions?

If you're looking for a different tour, this is the one for you!
This tour will take you to learn and understand Buddhism and Shintoism and the basic differences between them.

We will start our journey at the important statue of the last samurai Saigo Takamori, where we will learn about the history of Ueno Park, the end of the samurai era, and the beginning of the Meiji era.

We will continue our visit to the Kiyomizu Kannon-do temple and its connection with Kyoto, descend to the Benten-do temple, and see its lotus pond.

Next, the Hanazono Inari Shinto shrine, where we will learn about Shintoism and one of Japan's most famous goddesses.

We will proceed to see the face of an ancient Buddha statue, a remnant of the park's past. And as we enter the final stretch of the tour, we will walk past the five-story pagoda along with its shrine, one of the most important in Tokyo, built over 400 years ago by the first shogun of the Tokugawa dynasty. We will end the tour in the great plaza of Ueno Park.

As you can see, it's an ideal tour for those who have just arrived, but if you're at the end of your trip, don't worry, because we will learn about history and specific details, as well as review the entire journey to ensure we have understood everything and resolve any doubts!

Don't miss the opportunity to experience this unique adventure! Book your spot now and discover the fascinating history that Ueno Park has to offer.

We look forward to welcoming you with open arms! ☀️
