Welcome to Archaeological Mendoza!

Discover with us the Foundational Area of the City of Mendoza. We are guides and passionate about local history and heritage. We are pioneers in organizing walking tours in Mendoza.

After a short trip by public transport, we will visit:

San Martín House Museum
Foundational Area Museum (only on Wednesdays)
Jesuit-Franciscan Ruins

All this from a critical perspective without institutional commitments in a 2 1/2 hour tour. We finish at Independence Square to recognize the contrast with the New City.
Don't miss the opportunity to book our free tour and understand our past from the indigenous peoples, through the process of conquest and independence with a local perspective.

If you book for 1 person, you will allow more people to attend our tour. It doesn't matter if there are more. We have room for everyone! We depart from Tuesday to Sunday at 10:30 am and 2:30 pm. If it doesn't appear available on the calendar, send us a message!
