Two hour Ohori Park and Maizuru Park guide free tour

I learned a little about the history of Fukuoka Japan. Tour a beautiful Japanese Garden at Ohori Park. A very pleasant tour.

I joined Yohei's tour immediately after arriving in Fukuoka, and it actually turned into a private tour because the other guest cancelled at the last minute. I was grateful that the tour started at 3pm as the early afternoon is just too hot in Fukuoka right now! Yohei took me to the area around Ohori Park and the ruins of Fukuoka Castle, providing some information about the history of the castle and the city. We also discovered we both work in IT so it was fun discussing our careers as we walked between tour stops. After the tour finished I visited the matcha cafe that Yohei recommended and enjoyed a peaceful time looking out over the lake as the sun went down. The tour is a good way to get started if, like me, you arrive in Fukuoka with no plans and don't know where to start! Thanks Yohei for a fun afternoon.
