We saw the Samurai District and visited one house as well as the castle. Momo explained a lot to us and made it a very interesting trip for us (family with teenagers).

We had a great tour of Kamakura with Momo today! It was her first tour, and my feedback for her would be to be more aggressive in rounding up the group (we had quite a large and challenging group, so I understand the struggles here) and to continue to practice her content. But she was so sweet and the route we took was fantastic: we saw so much! I really enjoyed the quizzes throughout the tour to keep us engaged.

Aiko was really willing and kind. She answered all our questions and was prepared. Although the tour is brand-new we will highly recommend it.

Aiko was an absolute gem. Her storytelling, energy, and passion for Kanazawa’s history made this so much more than a walking tour — it felt like being transported back to the samurai era. We traveled as a family with teenagers, and she kept everyone engaged the entire time, which is no small feat! The highlight was Kenroku-en, where Aiko shared the story of the crane and turtle — and then pointed out where to actually find both hidden in the garden. That kind of detail is exactly what you’d never discover on your own. If Aiko is your guide, you’re in luck. Highly recommend.

We had a great walking tour of Kanazawa. It was the perfect amount of time to see the highlights of the samurai district, castle and garden. We really enjoyed learning from our guide.

The tour was professional and provided very good info on the sites we visited. Rosa did a great job showing us around and taking us to interesting places.

This was a very informative tour, better than expected, it really depends on the guide you get and Ilya was great. He had so much information and told us so much not only about the Samurai district but the city and just life in Japan in general

Aiko was a great tour guide with excellent English. She was enthusiastic and had visuals to help illustrate and explain what we were seeing as we made our way around the Samurai district and also through the Kenroku-en garden. The audio kit provided made it easy to hear and keep up with what was being said. We are happy to recommend the tour.
