Ali, who stepped in because Maria wasn’t feeling well, was amazing! He knew so much niche knowledge and facts about Hiroshima and its History. The walk around the peace memorial park was really immersive and made you understand how this tragedy must’ve been experienced by the people living in this area in 1945. The best tour I have ever attended and almost worth the Trip to Japan on its own.

Thomas erklärt ausführlich die Hintergründe um die Entstehung von Okonomiyaki und zeigt einem ein paar Anlaufstellen im Stadtzentrum, die mit diesem bedeutenden Staple Dish von Hiroshima zu tun haben, bevor es zum Restaurant geht. Thomas ist darüber hinaus ein sehr guter Gesprächspartner, der mir beim gemeinsamen Abendessen nicht nur alles zu Okonomiyaki erzählt hat, sondern auch einen sehr guten Abriss über die japanische Geschichte gegeben hat. Ich würde jedem die Buchung der Tour empfehlen und möchte mich noch einmal bedanken.

Loved the tour, Maria was extremely knowledgeable and explained an extremely sensitive topic really well. Maria also has expert knowledge in chemistry which really added another level to the tour.
